Guest Speakers are Nick Kuhn and Ben Haupts

Nick Kuhn, executive director of the Legion of Food has owned numerous restaurants in the Des Moines area. Nick's current project is establishing and managing The Foundry. The Foundry will include a nonprofit commissary kitchen for local food truck operators and caterers, a public Food and Beverage Hall and an on-site distillery, Foundry Distilling.

Ben Haupts, Managing Director of the Midwest Business Center with Principal. Ben works with advisors and Principal's leadership team. Ben brings 30 years of experience with Principal. First as an advisor in the Des Moines Agency, then the Pension Department, an Internal Wholesaler, and the last 20 years as an external wholesaler. Ben will share his thoughts on the current economic picture as well as the outlook for the stock market.

We also are excited to announce our newest team member, Heather Ripke, formerly Heather Roll. Most of you already know Heather as she worked on our team in 2016-2017. She was recently married to Jason Ripke, and has a daughter, Hayden. Heather looks forward to seeing you all at this upcoming breakfast club!!

Guest speaker - Nick Kuhn, owner of The Hall at the Foundry in Valley Junction. Nick will talk about his very successful new establishment and his previous business successes including a local food truck. He is a very bright and entertaining entrepreneur.

Also, Dale will introduce Jenny Smith, top financial advisor with the Principal.

Dale is extra excited due to the current market volatility and he no longer feels like the Maytag repairman.
