Sometimes as a boss you have to celebrate 🥳 🎉 your best business asset! This powerhouse team deserved a special night out. We ventured up to Osage for a unique dining experience with Chef Jessica Baldus at her Farm to Table restaurant Taste. There are not enough words to describe how special this evening was and the time spent networking away from work.

This was a 5 star experience and a a huge broadening of our culinary experience. FYI this is not a a walk in and dine restaurant, you have to book in advance just to get a seat at the table.

Meet our Sr. Account Executive, Katie Burgin!
She is our🐄Farm🚜and Crop🌽resource in the office!

What do you do in your free time?
You will find me spending time with my husband doing what we love most; riding horses🐴, hiking 🥾, fishing🎣, cutting firewood🪵, hunting🦌 and spending time with all our nieces and nephews.

What did you want to be when you grow up?
I always wanted to be a vet or horse trainer🐎

What would your dream vacation look like?
A long trip with my husband and our horses riding through the mountains out west🌄. Or a trip to Australia.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Obtaining five insurance licenses, starting a 2-year-old horse, taking the step into a new career path, completing the challenging 12-mile Harney Peak horse trail to 7,244 ft in elevation in South Dakota with a young horse.

What small things makes your day better?
Seeing a friendly smile, a good morning text, getting to pet a dog, a hug from my nieces/nephews, the weather being cool and sun shining, sunrises and sunsets, when technology works!😃

I love having big family and friends gatherings having supper and playing games!

2. What did you want to be when you grow up?
A mommy of a dozen kids

A cruise through Greece

Lennon and more babies to come!

5. What small things makes your day better?
A good cup of morning coffee, a big hug from Lennon, when my husband puts gas in my car for me and when my nieces and nephews send me flowers!

Meet the Agent, Nancy!

1. What do you do in your free time?
We farm so "free" time is often spent being a farm wife. For fun, I love to garden, run (gravel travel), backyard campfires with Fleetwood Mac on the Alexa, explore new foods, and I love all travel opportunities.

2. What did you want to be when you grow up?
I always wanted to be a teacher. I feel like my career path offers me opportunities to teach every day; just in a different kind of classroom.

3. What would your dream vacation look like?
I would take 6 - 9 months to travel leisurely and spend time in small countryside towns working my way through Europe and Australia.

4. What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Professionally, earning MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) qualification as a female financial advisor. Personally, I am a proud wife and mother of 2 great adults sons who are following in our legacy of farming and insurance.

5. What small things makes your day better?
I am a people person; I love watching people make small acts of kindness to others during the day. Also a good Carmel Macchiato and some Vanilla Bean Ice Cream would be guilty treats, especially if enjoyed by a backyard campfire.

County Fair Season 2026 is now in the Rearview Mirror.

Congratulations to some great county fairs. A true reflection of the hard work put in behind the scenes by many. The Fairboards always work really hard to make the experience the best they can. What always impresses me is the amout of people who travel from outside these counties to participate and witness all the great thing in our communities. Great job to you all! You deserve a weeks nap and some relaxing massages.
