Week #1 if school is officially behind us! The Schneider Girls had a great first week as Central Warriors!

One of the best byproducts of having an Elkader office is that the girls can walk to the office a few days a week after school. For me that means having their snacks and watches ready to go! Another benefit is teaching them self-sufficiency and time management. They stop in after school, debrief me on their day during snack time, and then strap on their watches and head out to the library and the park keeping an eye on the time. Learning together!

Brian and Laci Lauer had some special guests in the West Union office today! David Young & The Interstate Kings stopped in on their way to their Friday night show up in Minnesota. Looking forward to their turnaround to meet us back at Rock The Ranch tomorrow night!

The Elkader office recently got some new accessories in the front windows! Thank you to Livingood Blinds for a quick turnaround and painless process on our small window project.

If you have been on either side of Main Street in Elkader in the early morning or the late afternoon, you know that the sun gets HOT HOT HOT. Happy to have some relief!

The family is still on Cloud 9 after Monday night's Rock The Ranch Client Appreciation Event!

The weather was beautiful, our guests of clients + friends + loved one were top notch, and the bands were outstanding! A big thanks to Palomino Band and Micky and the Motorcars for a wonderful evening of entertainment! We can't wait to do it all again on August 29th for round number 2!

It was all hands-on deck prepping for the first Rock the Ranch of our Summer Series tonight! Of course, Laurali and Grandpa had to take a little break to make sure the mini bike still runs on Saturday afternoon.

We are SO looking forward to hosting our clients, friends, and two fantastic bands tonight! Palomino Band at 6 and Micky and the Motorcars at 7:15 at the Goose Ranch!

We had a fun little helper at the Elkader office this week! Daylee loves putting ‘stickers' aka stamps on envelopes and walking them over to the post office! However I am unsure if she is following our dress code, of her selection of a dress paired with crocs?

That's a wrap on the 2026 Clayton County Fair!

This year was special, as my daughter wrapped up her time as a Clover Kid. Laurali has enjoyed the last 4 years getting to participate as a Clover Kid at our county fair. This year she worked on a sewing project with her Grandma, a set of pillow cases. During the fair she got to participate in the Clover Kid Graduation Ceremony. Next year, Laurali will officially join 4-H and we are looking forward to her continued involvement in the organization.

Avery has officially wrapped up her internship with FWP. It was our pleasure to have her in the office between her classes a UNI over the last 15 months. We wish her the best and thank her for her time in serving our clients!
