Congrats to Bob for achieving an incredible 40 years at NJM! ⭐
Bob says: “When I walked up to that building for my first job interview at NJM in 1986, I had no idea that 40 years later I’d still be with the company—one that has given me so much both personally and professionally. I began part time in Central Files while in college full time. I then moved to Customer Service, and a few years later transferred to Corporate Systems, where I was introduced to the technology supporting NJM’s policy rating, printing, claims, and filing. In 1999, Corporate Systems and IT merged, and together we took on the challenges of Y2K. I transitioned to Cash Management in 2008, (now Treasury), where I continue to work today. Over the course of my 40 year career, I’ve had the opportunity to work under 5 presidents and with countless talented, dedicated, and professional individuals. NJM also played an important role in my personal life—I met my wife, Jennifer, in 1991 while we were both working in Customer Service. We’ve now been happily married for 32 years and are proud parents to two children, Drew (25) and Paige (22). Everything I enjoy today—my health, my family, meaningful friendships, vacations, and a beautiful home—I owe to NJM. Accepting that job offer in 1986 was one of the best decisions of my life, and I’m deeply grateful for the stability, opportunities, and life the company has provided me. Outside of work, I enjoy roasting my own coffee beans, cooking, kayaking, weight training, and playing guitar—for an audience of one…me!”
