Sandie says: “You should love what you do – and that’s exactly what brought me to my 25th workaversary at NJM. I started in Claims before moving to Sales in 2004, where I found my calling. I’ve held several roles within the department, and in my current role as a distribution rep, I manage relationships with agency partners to help drive new business. The variety of departments, roles, and responsibilities throughout my career has kept my work dynamic, engaging, and truly enjoyable.

I’m proud to be involved in leadership development and community service. I’ve served on the board of the non-profit Bergen Volunteers, am an alumna of Bergen LEADS, and am a past recipient of the Arline Simpson Leadership Award from the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, where I also served as an ambassador & co-chair on their Professional Women’s Initiative Committee. I continue my 10 years of volunteer work with Junior Achievement of NJ and earned the professional designations AIC and ARM. I’m very appreciative of NJM’s support of my professional development and encouragement of community engagement.

Outside work, I’m a single mom to two teenage boys and a dog who keep me motivated to hit the gym and stay active. Depending on the season and my sons’ sports schedules, you’ll find me golfing or playing volleyball, snowboarding, or boating and jet-skiing. I’m also a big NJ Devils fan and love rocking out to live music. When there’s nothing on the calendar, I enjoy spending time with friends – many of whom I’m happy to also call colleagues and clients.”
