✨ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | LAUREN BARKER ✨
Meet Lauren Barker, who currently serves on the Junior Auxiliary of Columbus Executive Board as Recording Secretary and as Crown Club Chair! 👑
Outside of JA, Lauren is the Agency Manager at Clay County Farm Bureau and a proud mom of two daughters.
Crown Club holds a special place in Lauren’s heart. She loves helping young women grow through service, leadership, résumé building, interviewing skills, and meaningful friendships.
One of Lauren’s most meaningful JA moments came full circle through two different service projects. While serving on an in-depth clothing case, Lauren helped provide clothing for a family who had lost everything in a house fire. Later, while volunteering with JAM, she was reunited with one of the children she had helped. He immediately recognized her and proudly told his classmates, “This is Ms. Lauren I told y’all about. She gave me my new clothes!”
For Lauren, that moment was a special reminder of the lasting impact our members can make in the lives of children and families in our community. 💙
