Happy Anniversary to my best friend and partner in crime 🍾 Three years ago you said “Yes” to spending the rest of our lives together, we‘ve gone through things most couples experience in a life time, we laughed and cried, we stuck together when we had absolutely nothing, we fought the good fight and kept God at the center of it all, and I wouldn’t change a single thing. Thank you for 3 amazing years, can’t wait what the rest of this amazing life has in store for us. Here’s to many more 🥂

The U.S. just set a record of 3.3 million Americans filing for unemployment in light of the Coronavirus. Once you been hit, the choice is then yours: How are you going to react?

Will you run back to security or comfortability just to stay stagnant? Or would you take this opportunity to rethink everything you are suppose to be and become?

How are you spending quarantine? Getting ahead or staying in comfort? Are you reading or binge watching Netflix?

There’s a great deal of opportunity behind every crisis, God will never give you anything more that you are capable of handling. And even then, He has many promises for those who believe in Him - Romans 3:28

From the first time I arrived to this country at 12 years-old, I picked a basketball and looked up to you. I got to see what greatness was about, I got to see what giving it your all meant, and I got to learn to how much one can grow through the game of basketball. The example and impact you’ve made in everyone’s lives throughout the world will never be forgotten.

This past Sunday morning you left us by surprise, you weren’t suppose to go. However, even as you left, you’re still teaching us. Teaching us that we don’t have all the time that we think we have. Teaching us to stop focusing on things that aren’t important. Teaching us to LOVE each other because tomorrow is not promised. Teaching us to stop being mediocre and chase after our dreams for once and for all. Teaching us to stop our fears from reaching our full potential. And teaching us to become the best husband, father, friend we can be TODAY.

Funny thing about faith is that sometimes it has to be blind, we don’t like it, I know I don’t. We get impatient because we want answers in our own timeline, but God doesn’t work like that. Pastor Rick Warren once said, “faith is following God‘s instructions even when they don’t make sense.” Though there were many times when I questioned God throughout these past two years following Christ, He’s showed me that those who persevere in faith are rewarded. That’s why there’s absolutely no doubt in my heart that you’re a gift from God.

Blessed is an understatement my queen, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you 💍 Here’s to a life full of adventures 🥂

I believe there’s a within all of us, but of course the choice is ours: become a follower or become a leader.

In order to live a life of purpose, you’ll need to make an impact. In order to make an impact, you’ll need to influence. In order to have influence, you need be able to lead.

Regardless of political opinions, I believe there’s a lot to learn from a former who lead the nation. Never in a million years, would’ve I ever thought that I would be shaking hands with a President.

As a leader, he said “never be afraid of asking for help.” He knew his weaknesses and leveraged others. There’s an old saying in business: “You’ll either feed your ego or you’ll feed your family”. In other words, approach life with an attitude of humility if you plan to lead and make a big impact in this world.

Most people think happiness is attained when they’re finally successful as they arrive at their destination. I think often we forget to enjoy the journey and everything it brings. We can’t enjoy a sunny day if we never experience a rainy day, so embrace the downs just as much as the ups. Our happiness lies in the perspective how we see things. Life is not about happens to us, its about how we respond to it. Happy Sunday everyone 👊🏼
