Big news for homebuyers! Mortgage rates just saw their biggest one-day drop in over a year, falling to 6.29%. That’s the lowest since last October and could mean real savings on your monthly payment.

For example, on a $450,000 home with 20% down, the monthly payment at 7% would be $2,395. At 6.29%, it drops to $2,226, that’s $169 less every month.
