🏡 Some good news for Florida homeowners.

State regulators have approved homeowners insurance rate decreases for four private carriers, potentially affecting more than 62,000 policies across Florida.

According to recent reports, the approved decreases include:

📉 One Alliance North America: 10.4% decrease
📉 Safe Harbor: 4.1% decrease
📉 Unique Insurance: 3.2% decrease
📉 Vyrd: requested 10.4% decrease

The lower rates are expected to show up as affected policies renew, although the timing may vary.

This also comes as more Florida carriers have been filing for rate decreases or no increases, signaling some encouraging movement in the state's insurance market.

Of course, every homeowner and policy is different, so a statewide trend doesn't necessarily mean your individual premium will go down.

If your renewal is coming up, it may be a good time to review your current policy and see what options are available.
