Question------What happens if you are driving down the road and you cause an accident in which you are at fault and you hit say for instance a car hauler hauling brand new vehicles to a dealership, or a truck hauling very expensive goods, how much is your auto policy going to pay for damages to the other vehicle involved and their products that was damaged in the accident? Someone might think---1. to total amount of damage that I caused, 2. nothing or 3. the limit on my policy for property damage.
***** The correct answer is ...........3. the limit on my policy which could be as little as $25,000.00. For example the big truck was worth $60,000 the goods it was hauling valued at $80,000 for a total of $140,000 and you property damage was only at $25,000 you would still owe $115,000. Yes a $115,000!!!! What next if you don't have that lying around in the bank? They would sue you! Doesn't that scare you to death? Check your current limits today on your policy, call for a quote on changing your limits with your current carrier or call me for a quote with our agency.
