Edward Jones-Financial Advisor-Matt Wright

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor-Matt Wright Growing up on a small farm, I enjoyed sharing and teaching, as my life was different than others. I came to Edward Jones in 2017. Member SIPC.

After 15 years in agriculture, I get the opportunity again today to share and teach information that impacts people. My most recent experience is in agricultural lending. I have a Bachelor of Science with Distinction degree from Purdue University School of Agriculture. My years lending have taught me to build relationships with farm families, ones that take time to build and will last a lifetime.

As a branch team, Kris Namanny and myself get the opportunity to work with individuals from all ages and occupations. I strive to know current clients, their families and situations better and to grow our branch to those seeking a long-term investment strategy. From Indiana, I grew up in New Castle, raised on a hog/cattle operation and bailing hay. A 10 year 4-H member, I met my wife, Amy, in 1998 while spending a week as Mr. and Miss Henry County at the fair. We have lived in West Lafayette since 2012, when Amy accepted a job with Purdue University. Our two boys, Jacob and Mason, attend West Lafayette Schools and participate in several sports and extracurricular activities. I am involved in Tippecanoe County 4-H as a Sportfishing project leader. Both boys are also active 4-H members. I have been a past local and state district chairman with Ducks Unlimited. I also have a unique hobby building custom fishing rods. As a financial advisor, I look to build relationships where I get to know you and your family as if an extension of my own. Our established process allows us to navigate the situation and work to help you reach your dreams. My door is always open to meet new people. Give us a call at 765-743-6484 and let us start preparing for the future. Edward Jones is a financial- services firm dedicated to serving the needs of individual investors.

Inflation has trended lower, supporting the case for the Federal Reserve to keep policy rates steady. While the path back to the Fed's inflation target may not be perfectly smooth, strong earnings, healthy economic growth and resilient consumer spending continue to help support market strength.

The S&P 500 reached new highs as several key market headwinds began to ease. While record levels can make investors hesitant, history suggests that all-time highs have often been followed by continued gains, with long-term returns comparable to, or even better than, investing on a typical trading day.*
