It is Open Enrollment time for Health Insurance. There are some big changes to health insurance for 2023. If you are paying too much on your work insurance for your family, we may have a better solution for you. I helped a lady yesterday who was paying $950/mo for her family on her husband's work plan. We did some calculations and determined it was "unaffordable" for her and the kids. We are leaving the husband on the work plan because it is $0/mo for just him and putting the wife and kids on a healthcare.gov plan for $150/mo. That is a savings of $800/mo!!

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was signed into law Wednesday. You might be wondering what this means for you?
People from all income brackets will now qualify for a temporary (2021 & 2022) subsidy towards their marketplace plan, even if their estimated income was above the previous income cap to qualify. Those who previously qualify for subsidies may also get additional savings as well.
