The Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament began as a way to uplift his alma mater Shanley High School and raise money for local charities. Nearly four decades later, the tournament has now transformed into a weeklong event supporting the needs of our community.

Roger Maris' legacy lives on through this weeklong event and the lifesaving care provided at the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center. Since opening its doors in 1990, the comprehensive cancer center has and continues to bring hope to those in and around our region.

Our guy was spotted in Hope last night. ⚾

Registered umpire, and Ihry's very own, Shane Larck traded insurance for his umpire's gear and spent the evening calling a Babe Ruth game in Hope.

There's nothing quite like a summer night at the ballpark. Youth activities are a big part of what makes our communities special, and we're grateful for people who stay involved and help keep them going.

Every other year, our program makes the trip to Sioux Falls for the Dakota Classic Tournament before heading to Omaha to watch some of the best college baseball in the country. This year, 24 players from our Class A and Jr. Legion teams are making the journey together, competing against tough competition and then taking in the game at its highest level.

Tonight, we celebrate an incredible career and an even better person.

-𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝘇𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗱-

After 35 years with Ihry Insurance, Mike Kozojed is retiring.

Mike has dedicated his life to agriculture and the communities that make North Dakota special. From his early years in the grain, fertilizer, and chemical business to helping generations of families and farmers through Ihry Insurance, Mike has always been someone people could count on.

His roots run deep near Hillsboro, where he and his children continue to own and operate their family farm. Throughout his career, Mike built more than an insurance book, he built relationships, earned trust, and became a valued part of the communities he served.

Mike's philosophy has always been simple: enter each day with the desire to enjoy life, and great things are bound to happen.

Today, we thank Mike for your years of service, friendship, and commitment to the people of our region. Mike will continue on our Board of Directors through the end of the year.
