Last week we welcomed Mara, Dominic, and Jim to the Midwest Heritage team! 🏦

Mara Knutson is joining our Carroll location as a Universal Banker. She’s previously worked in banking and lending and is excited to continue growing in her career and meet new people at Midwest Heritage.

Dominic Lattina is also joining us as a Universal Banker, located at our Windsor Heights branch inside Hy-Vee. He is excited to grow and develop new skills while working in a supportive environment.

Jim Underfer is joining our Group Benefits team as an Account Executive. He understands the importance of building meaningful relationships through personal connection, commitment, and follow-through. There’s still time for the next generation of Iowa farmers to take the first step toward building their own herd.

The Midwest Heritage Youth Heifer Program gives selected 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to receive three bred heifers and gain hands-on experience in herd management, recordkeeping, financial literacy, and the beef cattle industry.

📅 Applications for the 2027 program are due October 16.

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain last week and joined us for our Chariton Homecoming Tailgate! 🏈

While the weather may have been gloomy, it didn’t stop us from having a great time cheering on our Chargers and enjoying the game! We’re especially grateful to the coaches and teams who stopped by to share updates on their seasons so far. It was wonderful to hear from them and show our support!

A huge shoutout to Hy-Vee for grilling up some delicious food and helping make the event such a success! 🌭🍔

We love hosting this event each year and are so grateful for the opportunity to support our community, our student-athletes, and Chargers athletics.
