I, along with Laramie Roberts, had the privilege of representing our Edgewood High School Alumni Association, at the EHS Awards ceremony. The alumni awarded four $750.00 scholarships to four very deserving students, this school year. The alumni generates the funds for this special day with our annual all class picnic, held the third Saturday of July. Cheers, to the class of 2024 !

My team and I decided to take the opportunity to recognize our first responders at Queen of the Valley Hospital, in West Covina. In partnership with the State Farm Good Neighbor Community Fund, we were able to provide 100 dinners to the evening shift on August 4, 2020. Departments that enjoyed dinner were the emergency department, Covid-19 unit, Respiratory Therapy, Environmental Services (Janitorial,) and Security. My heartfelt thanks to Jonathan Lorenzo, and Emanate Health Foundation, who coordinated the communication and delivery to the hospital. Also, my thanks to Buckboard BBQ & Catering, for providing and delivering that night. I hope that all of our first responders enjoyed dinner. We’ll do it again soon! Thank you for all you do!

The frontline heroes, in the US, and around the world, have shown amazing courage, and professionalism, in this fight. In light of this, we wanted to extend our most sincere gratitude to the wonderful people, at Queen of the Valley Hospital, for all that they do on a daily, and nightly basis. My family, and team members, were able to show them a small token of appreciation, during this period of uncertainty, by providing dinner to the ICU and the DOU Departments, last night. In addition, we will felt that it was important to support one of the local businesses— Buckboard BBQ & Catering, in Covina. We want to thank them for their truly outstanding food, and flexibility that they showed, in making the delivery at 7:00 PM.
