Six-year-old Alex was diagnosed with a very rare form of blood cancer in September 2017. Now in remission, Alex still comes to Aflac for regular checkups. At one of his last appointments, Alex just didn't feel like being poked. Without hesitation, Dr. George got down on the floor and did what he needed to do while Alex was distracted by one of the visiting therapy dogs. This shot is called 'whatever it takes', said Alex's mom. Thanks, Dr. George and the rest of the Aflac staff for doing whatever it takes to care for our patients.
