Would-be homebuyers seem to be holding their breath, hoping that the Fed begins cutting rates soon. Transaction volumes for both new and existing homes have remained subdued this spring/summer. But with the inventory of homes for sale rising, buyers are regaining some negotiating power. I'd love to give you an update on our local market!

🏡 Throwback to one week ago today when Lauren and Clinton settled on their brand new home in Delaware!
💗We had helped L's Mom find her new home last year and got to know L a little bit through that process. Less than a year later, L was ready to find her own home sweet home. L & C aren't afraid of a little elbow grease or blood and sweat, so they chose this home to remodel over the next few weeks and we just know the finished product is going to be fantastic!
🏅Side note: this home was a HUD property which brings lots of extra hoops to jump through. Not only did we blow through those hoops, but we also were able to negotiate a significant savings for Lauren and Clinton after inspections. We were told HUD properties NEVER negotiate or lower their price...
🚫Tom said "hold my coffee" and ended up putting money right back into our clients' pockets to cover numerous upgrades.
