The West Blocton Old Timers Game is back, and we are proud to welcome home hometown legend Terrance Brown, who will open the game with a powerful performance of the National Anthem.
American baritone Terrance Brown currently serves as Dean of the Potter College of Arts and Letters at Western Kentucky University. A native of West Blocton, Alabama, Dr. Brownโs journey reflects both academic excellence and artistic distinction.
He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Samford University, followed by both his Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Louisiana State University.
Dr. Brown has built a reputation as a versatile singer and conductor. As both an educator and performer, he has traveled extensively across the United States and Europe, appearing as a concert artist, recitalist, and operatic performer. He is widely recognized for his rich, lyrical baritone voice and his ability to perform across a broad range of musical styles.
