Cancer affects so many people, but we can use it as a chance to overcome by spreading awareness and raising support for those battling this horrible disease. Had the opportunity to participate in this amazing event that did just that.

DHR Health’s 5th Annual Purple Project took place yesterday. Representing MyCare Medical we shared with the community our vision and answered any health insurance concerns.

I have been an embassador for Unidos Contra la Diabetes - RGV for a couple of years now. The mission is to spread awareness on diabetes management and prevention.

This week UCD and the Benavides Law Firm will be holding a Power of Attorney Clinic free to the community; we will help in completing the forms and we will have notaries available to notarize the documents.

So proud of the team! To celebrate Mother’s Day we were out in the community making sure our members were taken care of this morning.

Hosted the MyCare Medical Produce event in their McAllen Clinic. Out in San Juan, Rainbow Adult Day Care invited us to be a part of their Mother’s Day celebration along with the San Juan Fire Department. And finally, had the change to drop off some gifts to our mothers out in Un Rinconcito en el Cielo Adult Daycare in Edinburg and at El Club Adult Day Care in Donna! 💐

Today along with MyCare Medical, we took part and of a health fair design to inform our community of resources available to them. We also passed out food and had raffles every hour. 🎊

MyCare Medicare is a name that is relatively new to our community, having popped up just a couple of years ago but they’ve quickly demonstrated their commitment to our senior care.

They’ve done so by aligning with providers that have been servicing our community for decades, they are continuously offering education classes to their patients and are constantly giving back. Cue the produce day…

This past week, worked along side the WellMed Senior Center to put together the first health fair of the year. We always strive to not just promote an active livestyle and education regarding Medicare benefits, but to also pull together from other knowledgeable members in our community.
