Carriers must replace the revoked ELDs with compliant ELDs from the Registered Devices list before July 11. Those that continue to use them will be considered as operating without an ELD.

📢 Know Your Hours of Service (HOS) – Stay Compliant, Stay Safe! 🚛💼
Understanding and following FMCSA Hours of Service regulations isn't just about compliance—it’s about safety for everyone on the road. Here are some essential tips to help you stay on track:
🕓 1. Understand the 11-Hour Driving Limit
You can drive up to 11 hours after 10 consecutive hours off duty. Plan your day to avoid hitting that limit when you're far from a safe stopping point.
⏰ 2. Use the 14-Hour Rule Wisely
The 14-hour window starts as soon as you come on duty, not when you begin driving. Breaks, fueling, and loading time all count toward this window.
🚦 3. Take Advantage of the 30-Minute Break Rule
After 8 cumulative hours of driving, you must take a 30-minute break. This can be in off-duty, sleeper berth, or on-duty (not driving) status.
🛏️ 4. Split Sleeper Berth Option
You can split your 10-hour break into two periods (e.g., 7/3 or 8/2) if used correctly. One rest period must be at least 7 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth.
📅 5. Know the 60/70-Hour Limit
Don’t forget the weekly limits: 60 hours in 7 days (if operating 7 days/week) or 70 hours in 8 days (if operating 8+ days/week). Reset with 34 consecutive off-duty hours.
📲 6. Keep Accurate Logs
Whether you're using an ELD or paper logs, accuracy matters. Always review and certify your logs daily to avoid violations.
💡 Pro Tip: Plan Ahead
Delays happen—construction, weather, detention. Factor in buffer time and use rest breaks strategically to avoid running out of hours in unsafe or inconvenient spots.
Stay sharp. Stay compliant. Stay safe. 🛣️
