We have been helping people with Health Insurance needs and questions since the first Open Enrollment of the ACA. We quickly branched out into Dental and Medicare plans. We made it a point to offer help for no additional cost and answer questions though the year. Health Insurance gets a whole lot easier when you have someone working for you to answer your questions.

They Insurance companies require this so that they can still get a couple of months of new enrollments.

We have been letting people know for months that big changes were coming and to set appointments to double check plans.

We are already talking details about Medicare and after November 1st, we are able to update clients about Healthcare.

Healthcare Open Enrollment is November 1st through January 15th.

Never, ever assume that a Medicare Advantage, Medicare Drug Plan or an Individual Health plan will just roll right over.

We know that not everyone reads the mail despite us warning people for 13 years.
We had someone call us with a plan that already sent out their scary letter telling what was going to occur with their plan. And they asked,

"Will my plan roll right over or do I need to come in?"

After the third round of them asking the question, I added one of my own.

"Have you read your mail?" There was a pause.

Yeah, I suggest that your want to come in are review what the options will be for 2027. We can do it over the phone or in person, what ever is easiest.

Yes people have rights for accessing Gender Affirming Care. It's not only the insurance companies, when you get into Health Care Authority Medicaid managed plans and health care providers delivering or administering services.... Yes, sometimes a complaint is needed.

Unfortunately if you are not connected to Wenatchee Insurance then he can not see what is going on with your health plan.

During Open Enrollment it can take more than an hour by phone to change brokers. Yes, that is assuming that their call center is open.

The process is simple if you have access to your account and if you don't then it is a quick phone call.

If you make the change before the appoint then it can reduce the pressure to rush through changes and allows for more time if there is a dumpster fire to tackle.

Open Enrollment for Health Insurance is November 1st through January 15th in Washington State.

This is a good year to select an broker early to go over changes that are occurring.

This is the time that you need to be double checking if your plan will be here in 2027.

Look for the letter from the Insurance company. It will highlight your options. If there is an increase. If the plan will be here next year. It is call the Annual Notification of Change letter.

You may have extra time to get your Medicare plan going in 2027.
