Last year, the One Big Beautiful Bill made a lot of changes to Apple Health (Medicaid). Some have already gone into effect.

There will be changes that go into effect October 1st with another major round January 1st (like work requirements).

This will be a first look for many people on how Apple Health is going to fundamentally change for thousands of our neighbors.

We are preparing for Medicare Annual Enrollment by studying for 2027 plus setting appointments

You can set Medicare appointments for October 15 through December 7th or you can wait for the letter that spells out any changes to your plan.

Legionnaires' victim's family planning on lawsuit as Outbreak reaches 4 dead. New York City health officials say there have now been 76 confirmed cases, with seven people currently hospitalized, 53 discharged and 12 others not requiring hospitalization.

To pinpoint the source, the city has been using sensitive PCR testing to detect Legionella bacteria in cooling towers across the Upper East Side. It's why testing and maintence of cooling towers is an important step in reducing the spread of disease.

The family of an 88-year-old Air Force veteran who died after contracting Legionnaires' disease plans to announce a lawsuit Tuesday as New York City health officials continue searching for the source of an outbreak that has sickened dozens of people on the Upper East Side.

Some one the other day stated that the subsidies were going to “expire” next year. So did the Administration put an end to the subsidies. (And no that person never documented their claim).

CMS administrator Mehmet Oz said, "Premiums will go up by less than $10 for most Medicare recipients, with many even seeing lower premiums."

Yup, this is an ongoing problem. It will impact rural medical facilities at a higher rate because we don’t have access to large group plans.
