What's Up Wednesday - Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce
Wellsville area residents!
It is that time again! We would like to invite you to participate in the return of Chalk Your Walk
between the dates of September 10th-September 13th! Free to everyone (all ages). We invite you to
chalk your favorite Main Street “Walk” of Wellsville in the best possible way! Extra points will be provided in the following areas:
● Categories (below):
○ Best Overall ($50 Chamber Dollars)
○ Pride of Wellsville ($25 Chamber Dollars)
○ Best Youth - 16 & Younger ($25 Chamber Dollars)
○ Best Group -Team, Business or Family ($25 Chamber Dollars)
○ People’s Choice ($25 Chamber Dollars)
Instructions once we begin on September 10th:
1. Grab some chalk and start drawing!
2. Take a picture and email it with the artist’s first name (s), age and a short statement about the inspiration for the drawing. Email it to [email protected] or send via Facebook messenger to by September 13th for a chance to win!
3. Our team of judges will look at all entries and choose winners for each category based on creativity, originality, and visual impact. No religious, political or explicit content is allowed.
4. All entries will be uploaded to our page (Wellsville Area Chamber) by September 14th and the public will have the opportunity to “like” their favorite image from September 14th to September 16th. The photo with the most “likes” by 3pm on September 16th will be the winner of the People’s Choice Prize.
5. Winners will be announced on September 17th.
