Wells residents public notice: This Saturday July 18, 12-2 is toxic waste day at the Wells Transfer Station. You must have a current year 2026-2027 transfer station permit.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: The transfer station is closed July 4, it will be open July 5 10-2.
Nora will be there Sunday 10-2 selling stickers and bags. It is $75 for the sticker and 50 bags, or $50 for just the sticker. We do not accept credit cards.
The town office will be closed Monday as they will be paving the parking lot.

Public reminder for Wells residents: 2026 transfer station stickers are due July 1, 2026. You will not be allowed to use the transfer station without the new green sticker and blue bags as of Wednesday.

Also toxic waste day is July 18, 12-2.

The Wells assessors will be out this week looking at properties that have made changes. Their vehicles are marked with Nemrc or Town of Wells either on the vehicle or on the dash board of the pickup. Any questions please call the office, 802-645-0486.
