Congratulations to Anna Leigh Peek on winning the Colorado EA Competition

This past weekend, competitors and judges gathered at the CFB Office in Centennial for the first ever Excellence in Agriculture (EA) Competition. Excellence in Agriculture spotlights young Farm Bureau members who are agricultural enthusiasts but have not earned a majority of their income from an owned production agriculture enterprise in the past three years.

Competitors give a presentation and are evaluated on their understanding of agricultural issues, leadership experiences and achievement, and their ability to communicate their agricultural story.

We are pleased to announce that Anna Leigh Peek won for the state of Colorado, and will compete at the AFBF Annual Convention in early 2027. She will be giving her presentation at the CFB State Annual Meeting in November during one of the breakout sessions, and we hope you will attend to see what a fabulous job she did!

Anna Leigh Peek, one of our Board members, won the YF&R discussion meet on Saturday at the CFB annual meeting. Anna Leigh will be representing CFB in Anaheim at the American Farm Bureau annual meeting in January. Congratulations Anna Leigh!
