“Weir is at the heart of who we are at CBW Bank. We’re grateful to be a part of this incredible community for more than 130 years — and we’re looking forward to the next 130 years, too. Whether it’s paying for and supporting the Weir Public Library, helping out with homecoming and events across town, sponsoring scholarships, or giving back through community service and in our churches and schools, our team is invested in making sure that our hometown grows with us. It’s deeply disappointing that the FDIC is targeting our bank with this lawsuit despite our steadfast culture of compliance, on business lines that the bank has abandoned several years ago. We’re confident that we’ll beat their unconstitutional, discriminatory, and bad-faith overreach in court.”
