When your vehicle is damaged by anything other than a moving vehicle, this is called Other-Than-Collision Coverage (or Comprehensive).

With the increase in the number of deer crossing roads/highways this time of year -- it is crucially important to

1) Ensure your vehicle has Comprehensive Coverage
2) Evaluate the Deductible Amount you have chosen

The chances of you striking a deer from October-December are higher than the rest of the year, it may be a good idea to choose a lower deductible! (less $$ out of your pocket this holiday season)
