HOG HUNTS – 50 MILES WEST OF DALLAS & FT. WORTH - Before HOG hunting this fall I would advise you to see CURRENT pictures showing activity. Not pictures of downed hogs that are now in someone’s freezer or used for lion food. Not pictures dated the first of the year BUT activity over the last few weeks. OURS SHOW WE HAVE HOGS NOW.
These hunts are from blinds and have feeders with solar powered, motion activated LED hog lights. You can shoot as many hogs as you can carry off the ranch.

When I grew up in the small town of Springtown Texas in the 50's and 60’s we never once questioned our parents income!! It was never a discussion. We ate homemade meals consisting of meat, potatoes, and vegetables - (which were not an optional choice). No vegetables, no dessert!!! We didn't talk unless told to, hence we were known as the silent generation. We never touched anything that did not belong to us. We never opened a refrigerator at anyone's house unless asked to do so. We were taught to respect other peoples property. And we were rewarded for acting properly.
We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, helped with all chores. We by no means were given everything we wanted. We went outside a lot to play, run with friends, play hide and seek, or went bike riding. We rarely just sat inside.
Bottled water was unheard of. If we had a Coke, it was in a glass bottle, and we didn’t break the bottle when finished. We saved the bottle for the return money.
We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with, and be home before dark..
You LEARNED from your parents instead of disrespecting them and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing. What they said was LAW and you did not question it and you had better know it! We watched what we said around our elders and neighbors because we knew if we DISRESPECTED any grown-up, we would get a real good whooping, it wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline!
We held the doors for others and carried the shopping into the house. We gave up our seat for an older person without being asked.
You didn't hear swear words on the radio in songs or on TV.
“Please and Thank you", were part of our daily vocabulary!
The world we live in now is just so full of people who hate and disrespect others.
Friends, consider Re-posting if you're thankful for your childhood. I will never forget where I came from and only wish children and people nowadays had half the chance at the fun and respect for real life we grew up with! And we were never bored!

Someone once told me you have to choose which hill you die on. Get ready to fill out your reports on me, ‘cause I'm going to vent here. Frankly I expect some "unfriending" to happen and that is fine too.
I believe we all have the right to worship as we please, but I also know that our country, the United States of America, was founded on Christian principles. I believe we should be proud of our country. A quote is a quote; It should not be amended or watered down.
The news media should not be afraid to use the "Love of Christ" part. Answering “Why”, they state, “Because, using the words Christ or God might offend someone!” Well, now it's my turn to be offended!
I'm offended that the news media would edit it out. I’m offended that Christians are being asked to tread lightly, so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man, Jesus, loved God, loved his people, loved the world, and gave his life for the sins of ALL people so that those who “believe in Him, and accept Him as their personal Savior, will have everlasting life!!!”
This Founding Principle is actually embedded in our Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Why would the left lopsided media continue to edit this truth?!
I hope every Christian or every person that believes in God who is NOT OFFENDED will copy this and paste it to their status...“If we ever forget that we're one nation under GOD, then we will be a nation gone under.” ~Ronald Reagan.
