☕️ Don’t toss those morning coffee grounds! ☕️
Since we are gearing up for National Garden Week, I’ve been looking into eco-friendly ways to help our plants thrive. It turns out, your morning brew is a goldmine for your garden!
Who loves a caffeine boost? 🧪 Coffee grounds are acidic and nitrogen-rich. They are "Superfood" for acid-loving plants like: ✅ Outdoor: Roses, Blueberries, Azaleas, and Hydrangeas (it can even turn your hydrangeas blue! 💙). ✅ Indoor: African Violets, Jade plants, Peace Lilies, and Christmas Cacti.
Pro Tip: If you have "neutral" plants like Pothos or Spider plants, don't overdo it! A little goes a long way. Think of it like a vitamin—perfect once a month, but too much of a good thing can be, well, too much.
Tell me below: Do you have a "green thumb" or are you more of a "hope it stays alive" kind of plant parent? 😂👇 I personally DO NOT have a green thumb. I will be using this tip for myself.
