This person will oversee the interview and new hire process, including coordinating and scheduling interviews as well as facilitating new hire orientations. They will also serve as a trusted partner to DCCU staff and leaders, providing support to enhance the employment experience. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of related experience in an HR discipline and experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, and DCCU is committed to seeing an end to elder abuse, especially where financial exploitation is concerned. Elder financial exploitation is the improper use of an older person’s funds, property, or assets, and can be carried out both by strangers and those known personally by the victim. Potential warning signs include unusual bank account activity, unusual use of a debt or ATM card to withdraw cash, as well as urgent and unexplained transfers of funds or assets to a family member or stranger. Be sure to always trust your instincts and be sure to speak up if something feels wrong or off.
