As an Edward Jones Financial Advisor with over 10 years of experience in the industry, I help individuals and families build, manage, protect and transition wealth. Prior to entering the financial services industry, I served in the US Army's 10th Mountain Div for just over 4 years where I learned the importance of planning and working with a team to achieve results. Today that team involves myself
, my clients and the resources at Edward Jones. After returning to Tennessee, I completed my bachelors degree with the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2009. I more recently went back to school and completed my Master's of Business Administration with the University of North Carolina in 2019. After living and working in San Antonio, TX for about 6 years my family and I relocated to the Charlotte area to be closer to my wife's family. We have loved exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina and East Tennessee once again. I believe that the most important role I have as an advisor is defining the goals of my clients' such as retirement, education, and wealth transfer. Often times goals are too general and arbitrary. By initially spending time to more clearly defining those goals, clients find that they are more satisfied with the results in the long run. Although, we spend a significant amount of time in the initial meetings discussing these goals, I should also state that this is an ongoing and evolving process that my clients and I discuss throughout their lives. I enjoy working with my clients to explore their finances, answer questions that arise, and educate them on how to maintain a healthy financial life in order to meet all of their goals.
