Medicare gives people a healthcare choice that most people under 65 don’t get from an insurance plan. That is a Fee-for-Service option rather than Managed Care.
If you want Managed Care, that’s still available, but there are other options worth exploring.

MEDICARE.GOV is now using ID.ME or LOGIN.GOV as sign in options. YAY!!!
Up until recently, one's login information for Medicare.gov was unique from one's SSA.GOV login information. Now, you can use either id.me or login.gov to sign in to both sites.

March is the final month of the 2026 Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period.

If you’re currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, this period (January 1 – March 31) allows individuals to make a one-time change, such as switching to another Medicare Advantage plan or returning to Original Medicare.

If you started 2026 in a Medicare Advantage plan and feel it may no longer be the right fit, it may be a good time to review your coverage and understand your available options.
