The dilemma about what to do with your retirement funds is real! Do not take recommendations from the HR individual from your employer/former employer. Reason being they are generally not licensed to give recommendations about what or where to place your retirement funds. They can give you information about the plan and perhaps options of how to move the funds, but it typically ends there! Be cautious where you obtain information. Ask questions always. Next week we are upon Annual Enrollment for Medicare.
1.) If you have an advantage plan you MUST confirm your Dr’s are In-Network, and all your RX are covered.
2.) DO NOT allow anyone to rush you through the process of your healthcare as it may cost you a lot of money for Out Of Pocket costs.
3.) Be diligent as this is your plan not the person you talking to about your plan!!
4.) Make absolutely certain you are confirming the benefits for the 2027 plans and not the 2026 plans!!

Annual Enrollment period is here for Medicare. There are a few details to know for the 2027 plans.
Your Dr may or may not be in Network for advantage plans, RX drug coverage could be changing, co-pays could be changing, deductibles could now exist that didn’t for this year 2026.
Make certain you are speaking with an expert. That is someone that is going to take their time to review all your information to find the correct plan for your 2027 benefits!! Be patient and remember to NEVER accept any incoming phone calls or reply to incoming texts about your Medicare.
