On Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country, and the families whose lives were forever changed by that sacrifice.

Today marks 99 years of The Equitable Bank.

As we make our final stop on the road to 100, we’re grateful for the people and communities that helped shape who we are — and for the team continuing to evolve, grow, and work hard to meet the needs of our customers for generations to come.

Here’s to the next chapter.

A great morning helping keep our community looking its best.

The West Allis Community Clean-Up brought together volunteers from across the area to help care for the neighborhoods and spaces that make this community special.

Special thanks to the City of West Allis, WI Government and all the volunteers who helped make the event a success!

Here’s to a day of celebrating the moments in motion and the memories we hold dear. Happy Mother’s Day.

Stronger communities are built through partnership, education, and people who care deeply about making a difference.

Through a partnership between The Equitable Bank and Better Stewards, a $10,000 grant was awarded by the Wisconsin Bankers Association in support of Beyond the Keys — a financial education and coaching initiative focused on promoting long-term housing stability and financial capability within our community.

This partnership has continued to grow from a shared commitment to supporting Wisconsin families through guidance, opportunity, and meaningful local connections. We’re grateful to be part of efforts that continue creating positive impact throughout our communities.

Thank you to Better Stewards and Wisconsin Bankers Association for helping support programs that make a difference.

Back in the studio for The Smart Start Podcast—right as the spring buying season picks up.

If you’re thinking about buying right now, you’re probably hearing a lot—rates, timing, whether to wait or move forward.

So we focused this round of episodes on what’s actually happening—real trends and what they mean for buyers trying to make decisions today.

We also tackled one of the biggest questions we hear:
What really affects a rate—and how do you figure out the right path forward?

These conversations are all about helping make things feel a little more clear—and a little less overwhelming.

What questions are you hearing (or asking) right now about buying a home?

April is Financial Literacy Month—a great reminder of how important these conversations are at every stage.

This week, we had the opportunity to spend time with students at St. Adalbert School, thanks to our connection with Urban Economic Development Association of WI (UEDA).

With support from the Wisconsin Bankers Association who provided financial literacy kits, we read The Berenstain Bears’ Trouble with Money and used it as a starting point to talk about how banks work, why they’re a safe place for your money, and how saving—and even earning interest—can grow over time.

The best part is always the questions—the curiosity, the real-life connections, and the chance to make these ideas feel approachable early on.

Thank you to St. Adalbert School for welcoming us in—we always appreciate the opportunity to be part of these early conversations.
