With the recent rise in interest rates, it is understandable that homebuyers want to time the market and purchase a new home when everything feels just right. Unfortunately, that is a lot easier said than done.

With Homestead Mortgage's Lock & Shop pre-approval, you no longer need to worry about rising rates after getting pre-approved. Once pre-approved, we can lock in a rate for up to 90 days while you are house hunting. If interest rates increase, you are protected since your interest rate was already locked in. If interest rates decrease, you can simply lock in at the lower market rate once you find your new home.
