Mecan River Group - Thrivent Adds Special Touch to TreeHouse Central WI's Golf for Hope Event
TreeHouse Central WI was honored to have the Mecan River Group - Thrivent serve as a Platinum Sponsor for the 7th Annual Golf for Hope Charity Event held on May 16, 2026.
For several years, Thrivent has been a valued partner of TreeHouse Central WI, bringing energy and fun to the event by hosting a special game at their sponsored golf hole. This year, they went above and beyond by adding a meaningful community service project that directly benefited the teens we serve.
Throughout the day, golfers had the opportunity to assemble care kits filled with hygiene items, journals, games, water bottles, and other useful supplies. The items were purchased through Thrivent Action Team funds designated for community projects. At the conclusion of the event, the completed kits were donated to every teen who attends TreeHouse Central WI.
The thoughtful project was a wonderful reminder that it truly takes a community to unleash hope in teens. Not only did golfers enjoy a fun activity during the tournament, but they also played a role in providing practical resources and encouragement to local youth.
TreeHouse Central WI extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Thrivent Mecan River Group for their continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of teens throughout Waushara County. Their dedication helps ensure that TreeHouse can continue providing mentoring, weekly programming, group outings, activities, retreats, and free transportation for area teens.
