History
We are a four-generation family-built firm with roots dating back over 80 years to 1939 when Joseph Buska Sr., Sue Buska’s grandfather, opened Buska & Buska Insurance in the basement of his home in Mosinee, WI. Sue’s father, Joseph Jr., joined the agency in 1957 and Sue began working for the company in 1980 as a retirement specialist. In 1992 Sue branched off from the insurance agency and

opened her own office to focus on retirement income planning - centering her efforts on educating the public. Today, Cole also serves as the President of Buska Wealth Management, LLC. Services
We have assisted many people in reducing their taxes, especially on Social Security, increasing their monthly income, as well as growing and preserving our client’s retirement “nest egg” that they have worked so hard to accumulate. During our consultations, we address issues that may affect clients during their retirement years. Whether it’s planning an income they won’t outlive, investment management strategies, nursing home protection, maximizing their inheritance, or Medicare and health insurance planning, our team is committed to designing a customized retirement plan for each client’s unique situation. Our mission is to leverage our dedicated team of professionals between our Wausau and Eau Claire offices to help pre-retirees and retirees achieve financial security so they can enjoy their retirement and the benefits that come along with it. We accomplish this by providing up-to-date education to our clients through personal consultations, educational workshops, client events, our book Ready, Set, Retire!, our online Resource Vault and Generational Vault, and Financially Speaking – our radio and television shows.

Today we’re celebrating Sandee’s 13-year anniversary with Buska!
 
Sandee recently made an exciting move to the Eau Claire area and has transitioned to our Eau Claire office. While she will continue serving both our Wausau and Eau Claire clients, she is looking forward to spending even more face-to-face time with those in the Eau Claire area.
