If you have children or grandchildren under 18, you've probably seen headlines—but many families still aren't sure what these accounts actually are.

Here's the quick breakdown:

💵 Eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 may qualify for a one-time $1,000 government contribution to help jump-start long-term investing. Parents and others can also make additional contributions, subject to annual limits. The accounts are designed to encourage long-term saving and investing for the next generation.

As with any new financial program, it's important to understand:
✔️ Who qualifies
✔️ How the accounts work
✔️ How they compare with other savings options, like 529 plans or custodial investment accounts
✔️ Whether they're the right fit for your family's goals

If you have questions about these new accounts or would like to discuss how they fit into your family's financial plan, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to help you understand your options.

💰 A new opportunity for families to start building wealth for the next generation.

The new Trump Accounts are now available, giving eligible children a head start on long-term investing. Eligible children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028 can receive a $1,000 government-funded investment deposit, and parents, grandparents, and even employers may be able to make additional contributions over time, subject to annual limits.

As a financial professional, I'm happy to help explain:
• Who qualifies
• How the accounts work
• How they compare to other savings options like 529 plans and custodial accounts
• How they may fit into your family's long-term financial plan

If you have questions or want to see if your child is eligible, send me a message. I'd be happy to help.
