With the weather rolling through, now is a good time to stay alert and stay safe. Strong winds, hail, lightning, and heavy rain can all cause damage that may not be immediately noticeable.

After the storm passes, take a few minutes to safely inspect your property for:
• Missing or lifted shingles
• Pieces of shingles or siding in your yard
• Water spots or leaks in ceilings and around windows
• Fallen tree limbs or fence damage
• Flickering lights or electrical surges that may affect appliances, TVs, computers, or HVAC systems
• Garage doors or gutters that may have shifted from high winds

Remember — not all storm damage is obvious right away, and catching issues early can help prevent bigger problems later.

Mother’s Day weekend is a reminder of just how incredibly special moms are.
