Workiversary shoutout to Lan and Kyle, two people who quietly shape what a day at VizyPay actually feels like. Lan is the kind of multitasker who can be fully locked into your story, hit you with a supportive nod and an “mmmhmm,” and still somehow be ordering office supplies and answering emails at the same time. Known as the office mom in the best way, Lan lives by the idea that if you do not like something, you change it or change your attitude. Also worth noting, this version of “mom energy” includes blasting L’Amour Toujours and going home to absolutely not do mom things.

Kyle’s day-to-day looks a little different, but the impact is just as real. Over the years, Kyle has grown into a leader who genuinely enjoys helping others level up, whether that is professionally, personally, or just having the confidence to take the shot in the first place. Music ranges from Texas country to the Cars soundtrack, depending on what’s on repeat at home, and curiosity is always turned on. From learning new ways to work smarter with AI to imagining a day spent people-watching from Mylan’s desk, Kyle brings humor, openness, and a lot of intention to the work.

Different styles, same energy. Both Lan and Kyle show up as themselves, push the culture forward, and make VizyPay a place where people actually want to grow. Happy Workiversary to two people who make the everyday feel anything but ordinary.

New York City hits different when you’re exploring it through the lens of small and local spots, and Ian’s latest DTO adventure proves it. From first‑time Big Apple moments to stumbling into the kind of neighborhood gems you can’t plan for, this trip was all about chasing good food, good art, and the kind of memories you only get when you let the city lead the way. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix spontaneity with a love for supporting local businesses, Ian’s story delivers. Check out his Q&A below to see how the trip unfolded.

Q: What inspired you to take this trip?
A: This was an Anniversary trip to New York City. It was my girlfriend Celina's first time in the Big Apple. She's always wanted to go, and as a possible future home, we wanted to experience the big-city life!

Q: What was the most memorable part of your trip?
A: One of the coolest places we went to was the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art), where we saw "The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh, along with many other amazing works!

Q: What was the highlight of capturing a small business supported during this trip?
A: At all the places we had eaten, the best food or drink was from the smaller local businesses rather than the big fancy restaurants. Which surprised us but encouraged us to try more local places. Celina had what she claimed to be the best Matcha she had ever had, and everyone else would agree based on how many people were waiting in that little cafe!

Then, just around the corner, we saw this place called Central Cafe & Deli with some heavenly-looking sandwiches on its front sign, and as a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese connoisseur, I can say they had the most outstanding BEC I have ever had. I have been trying to recreate it at home, and I haven't been able to find the secret, so I may need to go back there to find out!

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give someone traveling to this destination?
A: Although it is always smart to have a plan when traveling so that you have a guide for your adventures, it is also not a bad idea to not be scared to change things up in the moment based on how you may be feeling. It's okay to be spontaneous, and oftentimes that's where the best memories come from. We like to pick a couple of things we would have fun doing, then flip a coin to decide what our next adventure is. Such as Heads, we go see a Broadway show, or Tails, we go to the Grand Central Station (We landed Tails!).

At VizyPay, everything starts with showing up and making it count, and that’s exactly how Chris T and Emily approach every day. Emily has leaned into consistency in a big way, not just at work but in life, building routines that keep her grounded and growing. You can usually find her locked in on the details that keep everything running smoothly on the back end, making sure every customer experience hits the standard. Somewhere in the middle of it all, “A Milli” is probably playing, keeping the energy up while she stays focused on leveling up one task at a time.

Chris T brings that same mindset in his own lane, focused on doing the work and doing it well. For him, it’s simple. He likes what he does, and it shows. His approach is all about making the days count, not just watching them pass, and that shows up in the way he moves with purpose and stays locked in. If there’s music playing, it’s got a little edge to it, setting the tone while he keeps things pushing forward.

What makes them stand out is how real they keep it. Emily is always curious about what’s happening on the sales side and how deals come together before they ever hit her desk, while Chris is confident right where he is, owning his role and bringing consistency to the team every day. Whether it’s pushing through routines, chasing growth, or just staying true to who they are, these two are a big part of what makes what it is, a group that shows up, supports each other, and keeps building something bigger together.

We have some exciting news to celebrate! 🎓✨

Our Spring Intern, Hana, has officially graduated from Iowa State University AND completed her internship with VizyPay — and we couldn't be more proud!

Hana came in ready to learn, and she left having grown in ways even she didn't expect. From building meaningful relationships with her teammates, to witnessing our LLF initiative in action at Collective Artistry, to navigating uncertainty like a true professional — she did it all with grace.

Hana, you said it best: you came in hoping to learn and you leave more confident, more resourceful, and clearer on the direction you want to take. That's exactly what is all about.

Once a part of the VizyPay family, always a part of the VizyPay family. We wish you nothing but the best as you take on this next exciting chapter. Go get 'em! 🧡

Isaac just got back from Italy and Croatia, and yeah, we're a little jealous. Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Naples, Split, Hvar... the guy did not hold back. But beyond the landmarks and coastlines, what really made this trip stand out was the people behind the places. Here's Isaac's full breakdown

Q: What inspired you to take this trip?
A: My trip took me through Italy and Croatia. A big inspiration for taking this trip was my love for history and culture. I’ve always been fascinated by ancient civilizations, architecture, art, and the stories behind these places, so finally experiencing them in person felt surreal.

Q: What was the most memorable part of your trip?
A: It was one of the first times I had ever truly traveled internationally by myself, and there was something incredibly freeing about navigating a new country on my own.

Q: What was the highlight of capturing a small business supported during this trip?
A: One of the biggest highlights was visiting iconic local businesses that are deeply connected to the culture and identity of their cities. While in Naples, I visited Pizzoteca Quartieri Spagnoli and had the opportunity to talk with the owner and learn about his story and passion for his business. What stood out to me most was an initiative he shared called “Pizza Suspended.” His belief was that no human being should ever feel so poor that they can’t afford a pizza. Customers can buy a suspended pizza by paying for two pizzas while eating only one, allowing someone in need to come in later and ask for a free pizza with no questions asked. It was such a powerful reminder of how small businesses can create not only amazing food, but also community, dignity, and compassion.

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give someone traveling to this destination?
A: Slow down and take in the experience instead of rushing through every landmark. Some of the best moments happen when you wander into side streets, talk to locals, sit at a café longer than planned, or explore without an itinerary. Also, don’t be afraid to spend part of the trip solo because it pushes you out of your comfort zone in the best way possible.

If you asked Jasmine what she’s learned since joining VizyPay, she’d probably tell you it’s how to stay adaptable. No two days look the same, and that’s exactly what keeps things interesting. What started as a challenge turned into one of her biggest strengths. Being detail-oriented in a fast-moving environment taught her how to pivot, stay curious, and keep things moving forward no matter what the day throws her way. Somewhere between keeping up with it all and finding her rhythm, you’ll probably catch “Midnight City” by M83 playing in the background.

Jasmine is the kind of person who’s always thinking about what’s next. If she could trade roles for a day, you’d find her on the marketing team, out connecting with local businesses and telling their stories. That curiosity shows up in everything she does, fueled by a mindset she lives by: keep moving forward and keep opening new doors. It’s that energy that makes her not just a great teammate, but someone who’s always growing.

And here’s something you might not expect. That drive and entrepreneurial spirit? It runs in the family. Her parents own JJ Jasmine, which makes her connection to small businesses even more personal. It’s more than just work. It’s about understanding the people behind it all and showing up for them. Jasmine, we’re glad you keep bringing that perspective to VizyPay.

Happy May the 4th from our crew!

We took today as an excuse to do what we do best, bother our coworkers with very important questions. This time: Star Wars edition.

Turns out we have some hardcore fans, a few people who thought Baby Yoda's real name was "Baby Yoda," and at least one person whose R2D2 sound effect needs some work.

We wouldn't trade this team for the whole galaxy. May the 4th be with you, from all of us.

Drop a comment: What color lightsaber would you choose? (Think carefully.)
