Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!!!!
Good afternoon RS Albany Spouses, From the Command and all of the Marines assigned to the RS Albany Station; we thank you for the countless hours of sacrafice, long days, late nights, and the continued love & support you provide to your Marine. The old saying goes; "behind every strong Marine is an even stronger Marine Spouse", this could not be more true. On this very important and special day I wish you all the very best, and am thankful for each and every one of you that stands along side your Marine and enables them to get the job done.

Thank You!

Good morning everyone!😀 As I have said in a previous post I am going to try and post information about different services that the Marine Corps has to offer us. I am going to try and post every month about something new.

Do you know about MFLC?

For the month of April I am posting about Military and family life counselor program (MFLC). The MFLC is an amazing resource for life skills and learning how to manage the military lifestyle. As we all know being military spouses and family, we face unique challenges. The MFLC is a wonderful program that helps us manage the military lifestyle. Here are some examples of things they can help with

Life skills Military lifestyle
- Anger Strategies - Relocation adjustment
- Communication - Separation
- Parenting Skills - Building resiliency
- Relationship strengthening - Sadness, grief or loss
- Stress management

These are just some examples of things they can help with. The MLFC is a great resource for couching strategies and information. We have an MLFC here every 90 days, but they can always be reached by phone. They can't txt, email, or write notes but can talk over the phone. This is a free service offered to military and their families.

Note: Everything talked about with the MFLC is completely confidential, provided no one is being hurt. When we do have an MFLC here they can meet up at any public place. They can not meet at ones residence.

The MFLC phone number is (516)-580-9266.

If there is something you would like to know more information about please message me on here or email me at [email protected]. I am open to any and all ideas! 😀
