Yesterday marked the 6th Anniversary of the naming of The Stop Box. We do not know when the name was condensed to The Stopbox, but 6 years ago we had a "Name the Penthouse Party" which was the official house warming and opening of the apartment we all know and love!

A very big Thank You to all who came to enjoy our 6th New Year's Soiree this year. The night was a throwback to the five previous themes as we expect this year to be our final New Year's party (But who knows? Let's hold out hope for next year!).

For 6 years The Stopbox has been a place for people from all walks of life to come and enjoy a diverse and eclectic community based on living fully alive and sharing that with others. It is these ~500 people who make The Stopbox what it is and we simply cannot say Thank You enough to all of you.

We are a little tired after the yearly "Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's marathon," but stay tuned for future events!

After a long dormant period, The Stopbox is gearing up for it's final "Friendsgiving Feast!" Please feel free to contact any of us about coming to the feast, we would love to have you! This year features Turducken and a stuffed Suckling Pig!

Unfortunately, someone on Google has given The Stopbox a 3 Star review. We try hard to provide 5 Star service. If anyone knows the woman who gave us a 3 star review, ask them what wasn't perfect.

Another wonderful year comes to a close at The Stopbox, and we do so by hosting another crazy New Years party! Thank you to all who attended Junglebox, we hope you enjoyed yourself!

Also, we would like to thank everyone who attended any event, large or small, in 2016. From our largest Thanksgiving dinner ever all the way down to the smallest spontaneous movie nights and dinners sprinkled throughout the year, we are blessed to call you all our friends!

Here's to 2017! May it be filled with more laughter, success, health, and happiness! From all of us at The Stopbox, Happy New Year!

A great big thank you to all who came out despite the bad weather for our 2017 Thanksgiving Dinner! We had people from Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and all over New York State from Plattsburgh, to Buffalo, to New York City! The official count is 101 Adults and 5 children! It is all of you attendees that make these events special, we just supply the place (and some food).

Again, thank you to all the people who volunteered their time and ability to make all the delicious food, and all who helped setup, cleanup, and tear down. Without you these events wouldn't be possible.

We hope to see you all for New Years!!! Get ready for "Welcome to the Jungle!"

The Stopbox would like to thank all the attendees of the 4th Annual New Years Soiree! Super 100! Everyone thanks us, but it is you all that make The Stopbox special. Without you, we would simply be another apartment in Watervliet!
