As part of our support for the Jefferson County SPCA We’re excited to spotlight Kokomo, a 6 year old female Pitbull available for adoption through the Jefferson County SPCA.
Kokomo came to the shelter as a stray and she has quickly shown everyone just how gentle and easygoing she is. She’s a calm, affectionate dog who loves being close to people which makes her a wonderful companion.
One of Kokomo’s favorite things is rolling in the grass and stretching out for a good belly rub. She’s kid safe, loving and ready to bring warmth and comfort into a home of her own!
Kokomo is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and de wormed — completely ready for her fresh start.

As part of our support for the Jefferson County SPCA We’re excited to spotlight Dove, a 5 year old, female Domestic Shorthair available for adoption.

Dove was a stray who spent an unknown amount of time surviving on her own. She’s tough enough to prove it and her story shows just how resilient she truly is. The tips of her ears are missing due to frostbite, a physical reminder of the harsh conditions she endured, but she hasn’t let that stop her from seeking safety, comfort, and connection!

Dove is looking for a home that understands her past and will give her the space she needs to settle in. In return, she’ll offer quiet companionship, soft moments, and the kind of bond that feels earned and deeply meaningful.

She is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and de wormed — ready for a fresh start and a family who will love her for the survivor she is.

We’re excited to spotlight,and sponsor the adoption fee for, Londyn, an 8-year-old Shepherd mix available for adoption through the Jefferson County SPCA.

Londyn has lived a full and complex life, what stands out most is his resilience and how much progress he has made. After a difficult start, he spent time at a sanctuary where he was expected to remain long-term. Thankfully, after years living there, someone recognized his potential and gave him another chance to find a real home.

Since then, Londyn has continued to grow in confidence. He does best in a calm, structured environment where he can settle in at his own pace and feel secure. He would thrive in an adult home or one without young children, where things are a bit more predictable and relaxed. He is also selective with dog friends and does best with slow, respectful introductions.

Londyn is a gentle, steady dog who bonds deeply once he feels safe. He is looking for a home that will appreciate his thoughtful nature and give him the time and stability he needs to shine.

This week we’re excited to spotlight Raphael, a 2-month-old male kitten looking for his forever home through the Jefferson County SPCA.

He’s just starting out in life, but he already has a great foundation thanks to time spent in foster care where he learned important skills like using his litter box and, just as importantly, how to be a professional-level cuddler.

Like most kittens his age, Raphael is full of curiosity and that classic kitten charm. He’s playful, observant, and always ready to explore his surroundings and figure out what everything is all about.

Now he’s ready for the next step. He needs a home of his own where he can keep growing, learning, and settling into his personality

Whether he’s playing, exploring, or just soaking up attention, Hunka is all in. When it’s time to wind down, he gives some of the best cuddles around.
