3. Special Enrollment – if you had employer coverage and recently retired

Still working past 65? You're not alone!
On this Medicare Monday, let’s talk about what to do when you have employer-sponsored coverage but are also eligible for Medicare.

Here’s the gist:

If your employer has 20+ employees, you can delay Medicare without penalty.
If your employer has fewer than 20 employees, Medicare may become primary.
You may still need to enroll in Part A (it’s usually free!).
