North Country Community Cup

Hi everyone,

Yesterday Jess, Josh, and I met for some Cup planning. Due to a lack of gym space we had to make some schedule adjustments. As of right now our tentative schedule looks like this:

May 27 - Pickleball - JCC
May 28 - Co****le - Garland City
May 29 - Bocce - Italian American Club
May 29 - Trivia - 1812 on the River
May 30 - All events at JCC

We will get the brochure finalized and distributed soon and be on the lookout for a Captain's email from Jess.

Hello all,

Planning has begun for this year's Community Cup and we are so excited. The Cup will be the week immediately following Memorial Day and concluding on Saturday, May 30. We do have some logistical challenges this year with limited space for indoor events so we would love some help brainstorming possible solutions or alternate outdoor events.

Friends, I am very sad to share that Dave Young, Captain of the Indian River team, passed away last week after a medical event. Dave was a joyful team leader and all of us at the Cup will miss his energy and spirit.

I am including a portion of the message that the Superintendent shared with the school community in case you would like to participate,

"As we remember Dave, we would be honored to collect cherished memories. If you have any photographs of Dave from his years with the district – whether from school events, Community Cup, or everyday moments – please consider sharing them with me ([email protected]) and/or Brenda Leddy ([email protected]). These visual tributes will help us celebrate his remarkable life and contributions."
