My wife is notorious for “losing” her phone.

We live full-time in an RV that’s about 400 sq. ft., and somehow she’ll still ask, “Have you seen my phone?”

I always laugh because there are only so many places it can be… and half the time it’s in her hand, pocket, or right beside her.

Some things in marriage are just universal.

I’ve learned in sales and in life: following up isn’t pestering.

The follow-up is an act of service.

People get busy. Life happens. Sometimes they need more time, more information, or simply a reminder.

If you truly believe in the value of what you offer, following up isn’t about pressure, it’s about helping people make a decision that could benefit their family and future.

Serve first. Follow up often.

The comparison game will steal your joy if you let it.

There will always be someone making more money, growing faster, or achieving things you want for yourself. But the moment you start measuring your life against someone else’s, you lose sight of your own blessings.

When those feelings creep in, change your perspective.

Instead of comparing, choose gratitude.

Be thankful for your journey, your growth, and the people in your life. In fact, be grateful for the person you’re comparing yourself to. Their success doesn’t take away from yours. If anything, it can inspire you, teach you, and show you what’s possible.

Keep your eyes on your own path, celebrate others, and trust your journey.

A grateful heart will take you much further than comparison ever will.

Don’t let someone else’s negativity become your reality.

People will always have opinions. They’ll tell you what can’t be done, why it won’t work, or why you should play it safe. Most of the time, they’re speaking from their own fears, not your potential.

Protect your mindset. Listen to people who encourage growth, challenge you to be better, and believe in what’s possible.

The voices you allow into your life will either build your future or limit it.

One of the biggest takeaways? Stop jumping straight to giving advice.

Great leaders, coaches, and business owners ask better questions. When you listen first and understand where someone is coming from, you can make a much bigger impact.

Sometimes the best way to help someone isn’t by having all the answers it’s by asking the right questions.

One thing I’ve seen over and over in sales is that people don’t fail because they lack talent, they fail because they lack a system.

A good system starts with your resources (leads) and carries all the way through your follow-up process.

The truth is, most sales aren’t lost because someone said no. They’re lost because nobody followed up.

When you have a system in place, you create consistency. And consistency creates results.

Success in sales isn’t about getting lucky. It’s about having a process you can trust and repeat every single day.
