Hey Vacationers!! ☀️✈️🚗
A newer service being offered is ‘TURO’ it’s a peer-to- peer car rental marketplace that allows private car owners to rent out their vehicle via an online and mobile interface.
Insurance works much different than Traditional car rental companies, such as: Enterprise, Avis, Hertz.
If you are renting from Turo, you must purchase their insurance because yours WILL NOT cover.
Traditional rental companies, your full coverage vehicle will transfer to the car rental BUT it will not cover the time of loss of use to the company when it’s in the bodyshop getting repaired from the incident. I always recommend purchasing the insurance for this reason as that can add up fast!

Did you know— 🧠🤓🚘

When you are involved in an auto accident & sustain injuries whether it’s your fault or not that YOUR insurance medical limit pays first!! 💵

I have seen a lot of policies come to me with little to no medical limit. This is an important coverage to have on your auto policy!! You select the limit- our base limit offered at our agency is $10,000 and that’s each person injured in your vehicle. It’s deductible free-once this limit is surpassed, it goes to the parties insurance that is liable for damages/injuries sustained and or your health insurance-Depending on circumstance! 💥

I think this is a misconception for many and we love to educate our clients so that they know what they have in coverage and why before an incident occurs!! 😊

If you drove by an insurance sign and it stated one of the lines of business they do is ‘Personal’ what does that insinuate to you?
Any and all answers are appreciated 🤗🫶🏼

This has me nervous how full we are going into the season that’s next..❄️🥶
Be smart my friends-If your sump is running crazy now, I’d really think about getting Flood Insurance THIRTY (30) days prior to thaw time come spring! ☀️💦
Farmers Almanac states we will be ass deep in snow with frigid temps, yikes!
*Your homeowners policy will NOT cover flood waters or the damage it may cause*

Tip of the Day—
It’s the last Amazon Prime Day!! I highly recommend you look up a front and rear dash cam-they almost all are on quite a sale!
A lot of times in an accident it’s ‘he said she said’ unless there are witnesses or its plain as day BUT there is a lot of times its a gray area, for example-An unmarked intersection, hit & run, parking lot..to eliminate any questions & have facts—get a dash cam 🤗
Pictured is the one I ordered for reference!

Storm season is upon us..just a reminder that if you get a knock on your door to check out your damage and they extend their clipboard for you to ‘just sign here’…shut the door & RUN!! You are likely signing for the company to retain a percent or portion of the claim amount!!
These are the types of companies we don’t want doing business here. They should be licensed, bonded and insured at the very least. Having a local office in the off season is important to me also but you’re free to use who you’d like!
•Take photos of any and all damage right away!!
•Mitigate any possible further damage (if a window gets broke out, don’t just leave it-put up a tarp.
•Retain any and ALL receipts

We pray for a year of no severe damage for all!! 🙏🫶🏼
