Our third day was filled with time in Downtown Nashville. We toured RCA Studio B, which transported us back to moments that made history - where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and other greats recorded hits, and we heard stories and songs born in this historically important studio. We even recorded our own song! Un huh, Un huh... Our next stop was the Country Music Hall of Fame, which featured much memorabilia and was very beautiful. Everyone then had a few hours on Broadway to grab lunch, shop, or find a honky-tonk. Our group chose Robert's Western World for lunch and to listen to some old country. Their 'Recession Special' includes a fried bologna sandwich, a bag of chips, a beer, and a moonpie for $6! In the evening, we had tickets for dinner and POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance, a new musical, magic, and cirque holiday show. We marveled at gravity-defying acrobatics, mesmerizing magic, and breathtaking costumes. Such a fun-filled day!
