The principal task of the Global Business Dialogue (GBD) is to highlight important perspectives on global trade and investment and on the issues and decisions that will shape commerce and the world's business environment in the years ahead.

General information

GBD activities include trade education programs in Washington, DC, and elsewhere. It has, for example, hosted discussions at each of the Ministerial Meetings of the World Trade Organization from the 2001 session in Doha, Qatar, to the 2009 Ministerial in Geneva. The organization publishes the (almost) daily TTALK Quotes on Trade and Investment and an occasional newsletter. GBD offers a range for membership opportunities from Basic Membership to Patron for companies, law firms, embassies, and individuals.
