Last week we had the honor to attend the MBA 140th Annual Convention.

As a proud endorsed partner of the Michigan Bankers Association, it is truly an honor to be part of an organization so deeply rooted in history, community, and long-standing relationships.

This event is unlike most. It brings people together in a way that feels both meaningful and familiar, celebrating the relationships that continue to shape Michigan’s banking community year after year.

Cleary Summerfest brought the 80s back in the best way!

Michigan Planners was proud to support and sponsor Cleary University’s annual Summerfest again this year. The theme was such a fun, nostalgic blast from the past, and the event was filled with amazing energy and plenty of fun!

We’re also incredibly honored to receive Cleary’s Best Supporter of 2026 Award. Supporting this event each year is something we truly look forward to, and we’re grateful to be part of such a meaningful celebration.

We had a great time attending the MCUL ACE26 Conference in Grand Rapids!

Kayla Ford and Stacy Kent loved representing Michigan Planners, connecting with credit union leaders, and being part of another great MCUL event. It was a home run of a week filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and plenty of industry insight.

Every year, our team takes time to participate in Fleece & Thank You, a meaningful organization that helps provide comfort and support to children through handmade blankets.

Each of our offices comes together to make blankets in support of this cause, and it’s always a special reminder of the impact small acts of kindness can have.

At Michigan Planners, supporting the communities we serve is a top priority.

That’s why we’re excited to attend this year’s Michigan Municipal League (MML) Convention, October 7–9, in Traverse City as a Business Alliance Program participant! Our own, Amanda Bobrovetski, will be speaking at one of the great breakout sessions that MML has lined-up.

Yesterday, our Michigan Planners team had the pleasure of attending the ASE Total Rewards Conference, and as always, ASE delivered.

From timely topics to meaningful conversations, the day was full of great insight and even better connections. ASE does such a wonderful job bringing together relevant education, engaging opportunities, and a room full of people who care about supporting their teams well.

A big thank you to the ASE team for all the thought and hard work that goes into making these events feel both valuable and welcoming.

At our recent All Staff event, we had the joy of recognizing the team member who was mentioned most often in our Google reviews over the past year.

This award is a reflection of the care, consistency, and personal attention our team works hard to provide every day. When customers take the time to name someone in a review, it means that person made an impact worth remembering.

Our team kicked off the week by getting outside and giving back!

Both our Traverse City and Washington Township teams spent time cleaning up through Adopt-A-Road, and we are proud to do our small part in helping keep these communities clean and beautiful.

A big shoutout to our team members who worked through the heat and still found a way to make it fun, including a friendly contest for who could find the weirdest item during cleanup.

After moving into our Traverse City office in September, we were so excited to finally host our open house and celebrate this space with our team, clients, vendors, and partners.

It has been wonderful to see our Traverse City team settled in under one roof, and even more special to welcome so many familiar faces into the office.

This location represents more than just a new space. It gives our team a place to collaborate, connect, and continue serving Northern Michigan with the personal support and care our clients know and expect from Michigan Planners.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, celebrated with us, and helped make the day so special. We are so grateful for the relationships we have built in this community and excited for what is ahead!

Rising benefit costs may not be the most exciting topic, but they are one of the most important conversations employers can be having right now.

At the Michigan Bankers Association BEST Conference, Amanda Bobrovetski and Kurt Swartz shared cost containment strategies to help banking HR teams better understand their options and plan ahead with more confidence.

From earlier renewal conversations to funding strategies, plan design, and employee education, their session focused on practical steps banks can take to better manage benefit costs.
