Today we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We’re especially grateful for the Linn American Legion in Linn, KS and the meaningful Memorial Day services they provide for our community each year.

We’ve been honored to see Thrivent Action Teams used in the past to help support these services—bringing people together to remember, reflect, and give thanks.

We wanted to share more of what’s been going on in May!

This month we were grateful to support “Round‑Up Applause: A Spring Recital of Giving” with Jubilate Deo Music Academy (JDMA) at St John Lutheran Church in Palmer, KS by providing snacks and treats after the performances.

Kaitie from our office is a student of the academy and her first piano performance! We included a picture of her fan club along with the other students that performed.

Admission encouraged spare‑change donations collected to support Swaddling Clothes, a local ministry that helps families by providing items like maternity and baby clothing, diapers, formula, and other essentials.

Be on the lookout for their fall recital November 14th, 2026. We hope you can join us for it.

May has been busy over here, and we wanted to share what’s been going on!

One of our favorite highlights this month: Brick Street Financial had the opportunity to sponsor Ms. Keesecker’s 6th grade class at USD 108 Washington County Schools as their Classroom to Careers sponsor.

They stopped by for a tour of the office and got a peek into the day in the life of a financial advisor. Lydia shared what it looks like to serve families and help people work toward their goals, and Kaitie taught a fun lesson on investing and compound interest (because small steps over time can really add up!)
