Yesterday was National Pet Safety Day but every day is a great day to remember and have tips on protecting our pets because after all they are family members as well! Here are some ways to keep them safe!

🐶Keep pets away from stovetops, candles, and space heaters!
🐱Make sure your pets wear ID tags or are microchipped in case they get separated during an emergency.
🧑‍🚒Place a pet alert window cling near your front door so first responders know pets are inside.
🐾Keep leashes and carriers in an easy to reach location for a quick evacuation.
🐾Extinguish candles completely and never leave open flames unattended around curious paws.

A few minutes of prevention can make a big difference.

National Brisket Day!

Brisket takes patience and a little safety prep too!
💥Keep grills at least 10 ft away from your home, deck rails, and anything flammable
💥Never leave grill or smoker unattended
💥Keep spray bottle or fire extinguisher nearby just in case
💥Check propane connections for leaks before firing up the grill
💥Use a meat thermometer to make sure your brisket is cooked safely
💥Let the grill cool completely before covering or storing it

Great BBQs make memories and a little preparation helps protect them!
